Handset maker Inventec Appliances sees profits down 87% in 1H09

Taiwan-based handset maker Inventec Appliances saw its consolidated net profits decline 87% on year to NT$185 million (US$5.61 million) in the first half of 2009, according to a company filing with the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE).
