Silitech sees pre-tax profits up 35% on year in 3Q09

Handset keypad maker Silitech Technology has posted pre-tax profits of NT$541 million (US$16.75 million) for the third quarter of 2009, up 47% sequentially and 35% on year, according to a company filing with the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE). Pre-tax EPS for the third quarter was NT$3.08.

For the first three quarters of 2009, consolidated revenues and pre-tax profits were both up 15% on year to NT$7.72 billion and NT$1.14 billion, respectively. Pre-tax EPS stood at NT$6.48 for the January-September period, the company said.
