APBT looks to TSE listing in 2013
Asia Pacific Broadband Telecom (APBT), the only 3G mobile telecom carrier adopting CDMA 2000 in Taiwan, plans to list on the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE) in 2013, according to the company chairwoman Sophia Chiu at the 2010 shareholders meeting on June 23.
APBT plans to register on the Emerging Stock Market in late 2010 or early 2011, a step in preparation for TSE listing, the company indicated.
Beginning 2010, APBT will upgrade its CDMA 2000 1X network to CDMA 2000 1X EV-DO (revision A) as well as set up NGN (next-generation network) and IMS (IP multimedia subsystem) core systems, the company pointed out.
