Technology for Good explained
Elaine Weidman-Grunewald, Ericsson’s Vice President, Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility, explains Technology for Good: how technology can be a driving force for the good of the Earth and it's citizens.
Weidman-Grunewald says technology has a major role to play in tackling international challenges such as disaster relief, the cause of refugees, energy and climate change. She says the potential of existing broadband infrastructure to improve services such as health and education is huge as we move into the Networked Society.
Weidman-Grunewald also outlines why Ericsson approaches Technology for Good through public-private partnerships with governments, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and other international organizations.
