"VimpelCom" increases its share in "Euroset" up to 50%

Telecommunications operator OJSC "VimpelCom" announced the acquisition of 0.1% stake in Euroset Holding NV Thus, "VimpelCom" increased its share in "Euroset" to 50%. Shares in favor of a company controlled by JSC "VimpelCom", were released "Euroset" simultaneously with the other 50% of "Euroset" company Lefbord Investments Limited, owned by OJSC "MegaFon" and Garsdale Services Investment Ltd.

As a result of these transactions, "VimpelCom" and Lefbord Investments Limited will be given equal economic rights and the right to manage "Euroset". Previously, "VimpelCom" had a minority stake in "Euroset" with more limited rights to use. "VimpelCom" plans to continue to take into account the performance of "Euroset" under the equity method.
