Micromax A116 Canvas HD to be available starting Feb 14

Micromax has finally announced the availability details for A116 Canvas HD smartphone today. According to the company, the smartphone will be available only at www.micromaxinfo.com beginning February 14. Company still needs to reveal the final pricing, which will be below INR 15,000 as stated by the company at the launch event.

Micromax A116 is a mid-range Android smartphone with some great specs like 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 5-inch 720p display and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The smartphone also packs 1GB RAM, 4GB of internal storage, dual-SIM connectivity, 8MP rear camera, front camera and 2100 mAh battery.

Canvas HD will be joining company’s already available A110 Canvas 2, A101 and A100 Canvas smartphones in the phablet segment. Comp any is seeing great success in the segment and has allegedly taken over Samsung in terms of shipment in the last quarter in India. The company shipped 198.1K phablets in the last quarter.
