Samsung details thirteen changes it has made in Tizen

The last major update that Samsung pushed out for the Tizen operating system (OS) was Version 2.4, which started rolling out for the Samsung Z1 back in January. Since then, a handful of minor stability updates have been distributed, but we haven’t seen a release that brings any new functionality to the OS. However, it looks like that’s all about to change as the South Korean company has taken to its official Tizen Community Forum to detail a truckload of changes that it’s bundled into the much-anticipated Version upgrade that’s expected to start being pushed out next month.

Thirteen fantastic new features will be making their way to Tizen, but we have a sneaky suspicion that they’re all going welcomed with open arms seeing as they were created by the Research & Development team in response to the heaps of user feedback that Samsung receives from consumers on a daily basis. In my opinion, one of the best pieces of functionality that the firm has added is the facility to activate Outdoor Mode without having to unlock a device. All you have to do is pull down from the notification panel, then you’re good to go.
