AT&T CruiseCast is Finalist in CNET "Best Of CES" Awards for 2009 International Consumer Electronics Show

Finalist Honor at 2009 CES Comes on Heels of Dual Awards at 2008 SEMA Show

AT&T CruiseCastSM, the future of total in-car entertainment, was selected by the editors at CNET (www.cnet.com) as one of only three finalists in this year's "Best of CES" awards for the Car Tech category.

The "Best of CES" Awards, judged by CNET editors who received and reviewed hundreds of entries, recognize the hottest products at the 2009 International CES in ten categories. The ten categories include car tech; cell phones and smartphones; computers and hardware; digital photo and video; gaming; GPS; home audio; home video; MP3 and portable video players; and televisions.

The groundbreaking AT&T CruiseCastSM service was developed in collaboration between RaySat™ Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier for the mass market of cost-effective, low-profile satellite antennas that enable communication on the move, and AT&T Business Development. RaySat Broadcasting President Winston Guillory said the recognition at CES proves that the marketplace is ready for a dependable satellite television service for vehicles.

"Journalists and industry experts have shown a great deal of support for AT&T CruiseCastSM," Guillory said. "Our team has worked hard to develop a satellite TV and radio service that is compact and delivers a quality entertainment experience. And now it's nice to be recognized for our efforts as one of the top three Car Tech products at 2009 CES."

The honor at CES comes on the heels of AT&T CruiseCastSM claiming two awards at the 2008 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show, a world-renowned automotive accessories trade event held annually. It was at the SEMA show that AT&T CruiseCastSM was honored with the "2008 SEMA Global Media Award," which is judged by an esteemed panel of international journalists. AT&T CruiseCastSM was also named 1st Runner-Up in the SEMA "Best New Mobile-Electronics Product" category. Of the more than 2,000 products up for "Best New" consideration in the 12 divisions, only 36 items were recognized by judges.

Satellite industry visionary Yoel Gat, Chairman and CEO of RaySat Broadcasting Corporation, said: "We believed AT&T CruiseCastSM would be seen as something special by consumers, but it has been nice to watch first hand as people realize that our breakthrough technology outpaces any other in-car entertainment available today. It is satisfying for everyone involved with the development of AT&T CruiseCastSM to watch others realize that the TV viewing experience from home can now be delivered to the open road."

AT&T CruiseCastSM utilizes a compact, low-profile antenna for use on cars, trucks and SUVs; and a breakthrough technology that overcomes line-of-sight obstacles such as overpasses, buildings, trees or tunnels. The system connects to any pre-existing rear-seat entertainment system and will have a robust 22 channel line-up to include a variety of kids and family, documentary, music, comedy, news and sports programming — with the ability to add additional channels to meet market demands. Twenty satellite radio music channels will also be available to consumers at launch in Spring 2009.

AT&T CruiseCastSM is made consumer-friendly by the unique scaling down of satellite technology into the small pod-like antenna that affixes to the roof of vehicles. The antenna is paired with a receiver that is mounted in the vehicle and provides all video and audio connections to the appropriate vehicle systems, such as Rear Seat Entertainment, Vehicle Audio System etc.
