FET looking at expanded cooperation with Fujitsu in handset sales
Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET) has said that it will continue to introduce mid- and low-cost handsets from Fujitsu after having introduced the vendor's high-end F905i handset into the Taiwan market.
FET sold about 1.2-1.4 million handsets in Taiwan in 2008, accounting for roughly 20% of the market, according to estimates by market sources.
FET said it is cautious about the prospects of the local handset market in 2009, and is yet to set its sales target for this year.
