MediaTek distributor KC Uppertech gains rush orders from China

KC Uppertech, one of MediaTek's handset chip distributors, is expected to record better-than-expected revenues in January 2009 thanks to rush orders from the China handset market, according to market sources.

KC Uppertech is estimated to post a sequential drop of only 10% in January despite less working days during the Lunar New Year holiday, indicated the sources.
